Re: Guys! I was so sad at first...
The mentality of the city players is just wrong! If they continue like this they will not even be in the 6th or 7th. Macini seems not able to get them to have the right mentality and attitude. They are doing like spoilt brat in a candy store.

Come on now Wanajo, don't tell me you are letting these Arsenal folks" that like catching a cold everytime City sneezes" get to you. The attiude of the players is just fine. I sae Wolves against Chelsea last week and they dominated. They played us exactly like they played them. But unlike Chelsea we couldn't step it up. It happens sometimes. I might even agree with those who think Mancini got it wrong today. Balotelli was having a poor game but Mancini stuck with him and subbed Adebayor. That was wrong. I ubderstand the long term implications, that he was trying to build Balotelli's EPL confidence, but you don't stick with someone sucking and sub a more performing player.wanaj0 wrote:The mentality of the city players is just wrong! That said regardless of whether Baloteli was subbed or not, City deserved to lose. Wolves balled out. That just happens sometimes. But the mentality is fine, our 2 most passionate players were out (Tevez and De Jong) and it showed, the extra energy they bring just wasn't there today. But we will be aight.
By the way, there was no spat between Adebayor and Kompany, this is the kinda rumor that floats when folks don't watch a game but need phensic for other peoples headache

Toure yelled back trying to explain what they were doing. Clearly he and Bayor disagreed on the plan. But this is something I have seen, Rooney, Tevez and even Messi do before. That Adebayor was doingit, actually was a positive.

Point blacnk simple, City was Shaite today, but just like their great perfomance against Chelsea is not indicative of how they will play all season, neither is their woeful performance today.
We gat this. No long thing

Re: Guys! I was so sad at first...
The problem with city is that they are a lower class team.
You can comb the pig, dress the pig, bathe the pig, but at the end of the day it is still a pig.
so naturally they don't have that history and they don't have the right attitude.
The future is bleak for the men in blue.

Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

The bolded part is what I am saying. Why are the others not passionate? Why are they not fired up? They should not wait till they play ManU or Chelsea before they know that there is nothing at stake.spastic wrote:Come on now Wanajo, don't tell me you are letting these Arsenal folks" that like catching a cold everytime City sneezes" get to you.
By the way, there was no spat between Adebayor and Kompany, this is the kinda rumor that floats when folks don't watch a game but need phensic for other peoples headacheAdebayor and Toure got into it, Kompany was pissed at the ref and a diving forward. This all hapenned around the same time. So some may have confused the issue. Adebayor was yelling at Toure and told him to move his defense up, coz the high pressure (Arsenal style) wasn't going to work if the defense sat back.
Toure yelled back trying to explain what they were doing. Clearly he and Bayor disagreed on the plan. But this is something I have seen, Rooney, Tevez and even Messi do before. That Adebayor was doingit, actually was a positive.Normally he doesn't even care enough about defense or pressure, and just rolls his eyes when someone doesn't make a correct pass to him.

Point blacnk simple, City was Shaite today, but just like their great perfomance against Chelsea is not indicative of how they will play all season, neither is their woeful performance today.
We gat this. No long thing
Watch Mourinho's team and see how everyone seems ready to die on the pitch! Mancini needs to get it into the head of those overpaid boys! Where is the passion?

I dont care what the club, fans or pundits say, Man City's #1 aim this season is to finish in the top 4 and qualify for next season's CL. Doing so would not only improve Man City's reputation and bring in a more lucrative source of revenue, but it'd also endear Man City to better players who want to play CL football. Man City have been rejected by several big names in the last few years because they had little more to offer than just bloated player wages. A top 4 finish remains the goal and we'll likely see a new influx of talent heading to City in the summer. As for the financial regulations, they can just sell some of the over-paid and under-performing players they currently have in the coming transfer windows which should decrease their operating deficit a bit.

Re: Guys! I was so sad at first...
CE's Yaya figured out Mancini from the time of his appiointment as City manager. I remember Yaya saying at the time that Mancini is reknown for his public dig at his players and deflecting blame from himself. The exact opposite of what a Mourinho type will do. He hardly inspires confidence anyway. So if I were to make an honest opinion of him based on Yaya's increasingly ominous prediction I would come out on a limb and say Mancity was sold a dud for a coach.
