West Ham in £2.5m battle to sign Odense striker Peter Utaka
Last updated at 8:18 AM on 10th January 2011
West Ham are hastily trying to put together a bid for £2.5million-rated Odense striker Peter Utaka to ward off interest from other clubs.
The 26-year-old striker, the brother of Portsmouth forward John, is also being watched by Fulham.
West Ham are in talks with Hoffenheim in a bid to sign unsettled striker Demba Ba

PS: Possibly a second option should they fail to land Demba Ba. Should the deal go through, Utaka won't have Work permit issue...............fingers X

The bad news is that he will render Nsofor obsolete, Hopefully Inter loans Nsofor Elsewhere or he moves elsewhere.
Or alternatively Utaka moves to one of the other clubs such as Fulham.
This will not bode well for Nsofor's development if they are in the same team, he will barely get any action.

How you figure? The don't play the same position Utaka is more of a striker so its Piquone and Cole that have to worry about their PT not Nsofor who plays more withdrawn down the wings sometimes through the middle.

Yea sometimes but not that often seeing as he barely scores lol isn't he on one goal for the entire season after 1000+ shots lol They would have benched him since if they were looking for goals from him, he's mostly a facilitator and creative force for them.

When teams get relegated from the EPL or almost get relegated, they don't descend into Abyss.
West Ham will certainly bounce back.

On the verge of getting his Belgian passport.
''
Peter Utaka's days in Denmark could be over if transfer reports trailing him come to reality. The 26-year-old Nigerian striker has extended his vacation because he is processing his Belgian passport that will enable him escape the work permit issues in Europe''

Plus exposure just like Kevin Prince Boateng, I hope it works out for Obinna and Utaka
