We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Coach Kwesi Appiah has opted for a strong and experienced midfield with Essien, Muntari and Asamoah as central midfielders. Ayew and Warid will be mostly deployed as wingers behind Asamoah Gyan.
The Black stars will be missing their defensive trio Jonathan Mensah, John Boye and Isaac Vorsah who were ruled out of the game due to injuries

Re: Ghana V Egypt Line Up
This Ghana coach is foolish.
I would have played a 451 against Egypt to make sure they do not get any hold in MF.
Playing a RB at LB when you have capable LB's. I would have played that Baba Rahman guy from U20, he looked very good.
Muntari and Essien are slow.

As long as they are both not in the middle, hopefully Muntari is more advanced so he has less defensive responsibilities and can let loose that cannon.
I no go lie, I dey shake for Ghana.
I cannot imagine a Brazil WC without the likes of Asamoah K, Gyan, Dede, KPB, Muntari, Wakaso, and co. It will be a real shame.

angel* calling someone foolish.
Re: Ghana V Egypt Line Up
It is an attacking Linen up for Ghana. It is a big match so Ghana are being cautious by starting with big names and experienced players.

Re: Ghana V Egypt Line Up
Are those people really Ghanians? Or paid Togolese supporting Egypt with some incentives?

Re: Ghana V Egypt Line Up
@VE, 4-5-1 for what reason? Ghana are the home side and need to press home any advantage that yields. Any away goal conceded must be reciprocated by a favourable aggregate. The line-up is acceptable, albeit predictable, attacks down the flanks with the midfield battling for possession. A 4-4-1-1 with a free role trequartista would've been beneficial, but do the Black Stars possess a player of such pedigree? The Ghargamels need to press, impose their physical advantage on the opposition and look for overloads where ever possible. Saleh, Salad, Marcelo Salas or whatever he calls himself will offer a fantastic out ball for the Gypties, no doubt they'll use him to spring counters. Ghana need to win the midfield, if they do, they'll triumph.
Goodluck to them.
Would've gone 4-3-2-1 with Asamoah and Tfco in behind Azonto Gyan, making diagonal runs out wide to overload the fullbacks...doing the Candreva as t'is colloquially known.
