How will they host, assuming that they only have 2 stadia from when they co-hosted with Gabon? Smacks of desperation on CAF's part - trying to run a 16-team, 4-group competition with just 2 stadia?

Didn't see this coming. Now will wait and see how the matches will be organized. It appears that 4 cities have been chosen there and their team will now play in the tournament despite being disqualified earlier for fielding an ineligible player

Maybe the information is wrong at this time or maybe they have another nation that will team-up with Equatorial Guinea to make it happen

Equatorial Guinea is somewhat oil rich, I believe so funds shouldn't be a challenge. In fact, it is the richest country in Africa per capita and its GDP per capita is 69th in the world though it must be said that its wealth is not evenly distributed as the country ranks 144th on the 2014 UN HDI (Wiki) while its president, Teodoro Oniang, now the the longest serving dictator in Africa, is worth $600m according to Forbes. Amidst these riches, 20% of Equatorial Guinea children don't make it to 5 years while 50% don't have access to clean water (Wiki)
I also think that with the country, being partly an island, movements of people could be restricted a bit considering Ebola. In fact, the capital, Malabo, where there's a tendency to attract more people, is on an island.
And the tourney will be hosted in 4 venues/stadia viz. Bata, Ebebiyin, Mongomo and the capital Malabo, not 2 as I initially suggested. EG co-hosted the 2012 afcon won by Zambia, using 2 venues.

They will NOT. Watch them call both nations the same. In several of their Maps for Ebola, the United States is never listed as having Ebola or having experience any, but Nigeria shows up in all of the Maps.

Is this the same Equatorial Guinea who had been BANNED from the same ANC for fielding the wrong players or another one?
CAF, a joke like their parent body FIFA. It's 2014/15, those two bodies are useless to world football.
