Nigeria international Shehu Abdullahi has agreed a contract for two and half years with Turkish club Bursaspor worth 700,000 Euros.

According to http://www.anorthosis24.com, Shehu arrived Bursaspor yesterday to hold talks with the chairman where the players, his club Anorthosis Famagusta and the Turkish Super League side agreed a two-year contract which the former Kano Pillars star will pen in following days.

Shehu will pocket 400, 000 Euros per year in the deal that also attracted a transfer fee of 300, 000 Euros.

Anorthosis also proposed a percentage, alongside some other add-ons, should Shehu be sold to another club.

The Cypriot club would also get a bonus of 150, 000 Euros from FIFA as Shehu is a World Cup player.

Shehu returned to Cyprus today to play his last game against Ethnikos Achnas tomorrow.

He’s expected to arrive Turkey on Monday to officially sign his contract.

Shehu will team up with his Eagles’ team mates – William Troost-Ekong, Mikel Agu.

Little Pascal Okoli is another Nigerian player in the team and five more in the U21s and U19s.

Angelo Di Maria will disagree with you. I think he knows who he will rather face.

The battle for the full backs (or wingbacks) will be intense. Folks seem to forget that the talented Ola Aina plays primarily as a right back for Hull City, even though he's played only one match for the Eagles at right back, and the other two at left back. That Bryan Idowu started as a right back and can play both left and right positions equally well(Ola and Bryan are both right footed). Ebuehi can also play at left back. Then you have the experienced Elderson Echiejilie. Realizing Rohr will be taking four central defenders, sadly, one player will have to be dropped from the Russia-bound plane.

List of likely World Cup full backs

1. Shehu Abdullahi
2. Elderson Echiejilie
3. Tyronne Ebuehi
4. Ola Aina
5. Bryan Idowu

You cannot be certain about this. Considering the fact that we seem to have plans to play with 3 CBs in some games.

He's actually playing consistently at Left back now, for Hull City (with fellow Chealsea 'loanee' Fikayo Tomori playing at Right Back). If we play a back four at the Mundial, he's the odds on favourite to start at Left Back.

Bursaspor seem to take a fancy for Nigerian players as of recent, and guess who their current coach is? NFF proclaimed SE coach Paul Le Guen :D

No Echejile who hasnt played since September 2017 is "more experienced".
Pls dont dash Obong's hopes
