Experts/experience shows it is extremely difficulty to transition one present Dynasty to the Next in any sports but football especially. Hence all the talk by Rohr of preparing current Team for 2022 was nothing short of BULL Droppings.
Rohr is by no means a Dumb IYIYA. His strategy was to pre-empt critics if he argues that his grooming process was only in infant stage. His was all about self preservation. Likes of Rohr and Reynald (morocco) would never dream of being a coach at world cup if not for Africa. So I it is under stable that they would do everything to keep their job. The question though is who in current Roster (minus the obvious ones like symmy nwakwo) would still be in their prime performance to go the next world cup even if we breeze through qualifications.

No one sees the future but as of now only the likes of akpeyi, ezenwa, echjile, Joel Obi has shown that they don’t belong in this crew. Note, you shouldn’t just replace players for the sake of it. Your replacement must be better than the ones available. Also, in 4 years from now newer WORLD CLASS players might emerge

And in addition to that, what has their club form been like leading up to the Mundial? It’s this thinking that has Nigeria languishing at the back of the pack, albeit in the most swaggerific strip since Joseph’s technicolour dreamcoat.
