Sunday Mba might not be an elite player, but show him some respect at least... he is the principal reason we can boast of a third Afcon winning trophy.

And OGBOBONA
make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the--if he--if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not--that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."

Well if we are mentioning Oboabona, what about Egwueke and Oshaniwa.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

No amount of hating will take away the fact he scored against Ivory Coast featuring Yaya & Drogba in the semi finals then scored the winning goal in the finals giving Nigeria its 3rd ANC title. Something the likes of Kanu, Yakubu, Martins, Ozase etc

There’s no way I would had been on CE in 2013 and allow people to denigrate Sunday MBA like how VE just did now. A player that scored 2 world class goals and brought ANC to us is called all these disparaging names Smh. Mba is a Legend

Actually, you would have called Sunday Mba a "backwater" player, and insisted we should not only expect to lose to Cote d'Ivoire and Mali because they had better players, but should also be happy and full of joy when we lose to them (as opposed to being angry and complaining about it).

Thank you. My   to Sunday Mba.

Don't forget, the empty barrel makes the loudest noise. Van city disrespected this man so much. This man made it possible for Nigeria to win the Afcon after 19yrs. I never knew what Vancity has done for his country. I am sure he will claim that Nigeria is the cause of him running to Canada and hiding behind a computer screen spewing toxic nonsense.

Mba did very well for the Fatherland in the 2013 ANC final. I wasn't expecting the goal he scored for us and I doubt if the opposing keeper thought Mba was going to shoot. To me, all those players who won the ANC trophy for us are HEROES and that includes Mba.

And he is a very nice guy too. Him and Omeruo hung out at the Westin Galleria Hotel lobby with us after the Mexico friendly in Houston a few years ago. GT was there. Uncle cmoke was there too but he rushed off to some appointment he said he scheduled at an establishment called onyx.

Sunday Mba will for ever live be a Nigerian football legend his career may not have been as long as Yobo or Vincent but it took him one attempt and we won the ANC. JJ 9ja arguably most popular player could never carry the team to win even when we hosted the the competition. So I salute Sunday Mba much respect.
