We miss his ability to create chances. There is no player currently on the team that can create chance and take on defenders like Moses used to do.

Yeah I hope you also miss his sometimes brainless and selfish football as well, Kalu and Musa will step up and do just fine.

Moses was huge for us when we won that ANC

He would've strengthened the squad and given us more options. I hope he comes back to the SE. Imagine Moses and Chukwueze attacking from different wings and inter-changing wings.

Of course, we miss him. He wasn’t just good against African opponents he was GREAT against them. Dude performed against all manner of African opponents marvelously. However, I’m the World scene and against world class opposition he was OK. Chukwueze seems like a talent but we have to be patient with him like saf did with Ronaldo

I actually don’t think we miss Victor Moses much at all...maybe his ability to draw penalties. But that’s it

Without Victor Moses, Nigeria doesn't win the ANC in 2013, without him we don't qualify for WC 2018, that was how important he was. For awhile it was just him and Musa holding down the wings before Simon came on the scene.

Bros, I didn’t drag 2013 afcon with you. Can also say without Emenike/ Without Enyeama .....and on and on and on. Not saying VM wasn’t vital to us when he played, but with the talent I saw on the field on Saturday, currently he’s not missed.

Sorry but Chukwueze is far superior to Moses in terms of taking on defenders.

Moses is an olympic diver.

Agree. Victor was quite the attacking winger. He should be involved even if not starting 11

Superior talent true, for sure no doubt. He should attack the baseline some. Good things come at the baseline

...we miss Finidi on that right flank too. Time to drag them all back onto the field and bench all the young, up and coming players.

Until he has done it against the best teams in this afcon and in africa, let us just say it is only in your imagination okay. We are talking of Moses because we have seen it do it, not imagine he can do it....Psst my bro, Moses did it. I hope these new guys can do it as well, i see no reason why they cannot, but until they do, let us just say Moses edged it on that basis. It is not hard really..A cup and a WC ticket is there to show

We’ve had some good wingers over the years sha.
Odgebami
Elaho
Finidi
Amunike
Babangida
Moses

But we might be on the verge of a golden age with Chukwueze and Kalu. And bearing in mind that Iwobi, Onyekuru and Musa are all decent out wide, and even Moses Simon is not exactly a dud, there’s lots to be excited about.

If Success and Iheanacho settle down, with Ndidi and Etebo still in their prime, and a good crop of fullbacks emerging, we are maybe a goalkeeper away from having a really good team.
