Would add Nigeria defeating Spain 3-2 in the 98 world cup and Nigeria losing on penalties to Cameroon in ANC 2000 after drawing 2-2 in regulation time. Nigeria came from 2 goals down to tie 2-2 only to be eliminated after Ikpeba's penalty kick was wrongly judged not to have crossed the goal line.

You guys said it all but will add 1973 all African games finals vs Guinea. The impact was huge, the first medal/trophy for Nigeria in the continent...Guinea was no pushover in African football then...

There’s been a few classics this years classic was the 3-2 against Cameroon but going by memory I’ll go with:-

There’s been a few more but at times it’s the volume of the game that gives it value,I enjoyed Nigeria beating Algeria 5-2 in Algeria in 2005 but because it is was almost certain that we failed to qualify to the following years World Cup I didn’t want to remember it, there was also an exciting 2-2 draw with Tunisia in 2009 in a World Cup qualifier but since we where at home it left a slightly bitter feeling in me thankfully we still qualified to following years World Cup.
I must say thank you Eagles for all those rollercoaster moments and I’m looking forward to many more and hopefully we’ll come out victorious!

I would add the 3-2 win over Spain in the 98 world cup, the miracle in Damman (coming back from 4 goals down to beat Russia on penalties) at the 1989 U-20 world cup, and the loss on penalties to Cameroon in the AFCON 2000 final after the game ended 2-2 in regulation time.
