Osimhen Arrives Italy Ahead Napoli Move

Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has arrived Italy for talks with Napoli officials ahead of his proposed move to the club, Completesports.com reports.

Osimhen arrived Italy on Tuesday morning with his agents.

Osimhen, according to several reports will be given a five-year contract, which is now believed to be worth 85 million Euros.

Napoli coach Gennaro Gatusso has insisted Osimhen is his No 1 target to replace Poland striker Arkadiusk Milik, who is set to quit the club this summer.

Milik has been linked with a move Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

Osimhen linked up with Lille from Belgian Pro League club Sporting Charleroi last summer.

The 21-year-old scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 games across all competitions for Lille during the 2019/2020 campaign.

He was also voted the club’s player of the year.

The former Wolfsburg striker was on Monday named the Best African Player In Ligue 1 for year 2020.

The only Italian club that can afford to pay upfront is Juventus the original amount was rumoured to much more than 45-65M!

Italy is just not the right league for Osimhen. The flow of their football just doesn’t fit him
