The NPFL could return in November for the new season after the League Management Company proposed a November 21st kick off for the new season.
In August, the 2020-21 NPFL season curtain dropped with Akwa United picking up their first ever league title.
The LMC issued a statement, Tuesday, releasing the dates for the new season fixtures.
In addition, kick off date for the 2022-23 season was also suggested.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the LMC is facing allegations of kickbacks by a potential title sponsor.
Per BSN Sports and TeamNigeriaUK, LMC Officials reportedly wants 50% of Bet9ja sponsorship deal paid into a private account.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

Don’t know whether this is true but this is what happens in Nigeria routinely.
It’s sickening…so common that it has become the norm.
There’s virtually no area of business in Nigeria where you are not expected to ‘settle’ key decision makers by paying an outlandish percentage into a private account….and then ‘clean mouth’.
