Something is wrong with Iwobi. The way he has regressed is alarming.

This Iwobi playing well is not the same as the normal Iwobi playing well. Playing well these days means he's not making many mistakes.

The old Iwobi was chomping at the bits to take people on , constant running and risk taking. Now he just seems to be there..

I must admit, Onyeka impressed today. I see lots of improvement.

Onyeka and Iwobi played well. Iwobi played in his preferred position. Clearly one of the two best players for Everton today.

so did Iwobi play well or not. Too many people contradicting.

It seems he either played well or was average.

At least nobody claims he was poor.

Iwobi obviously played a different role today - central. Almost like a false 9. He looked to play better. Ultimately he may only have looked better to us because of his role. In the past when he is deployed as a wing back, he probably played ok to what is required of a wing back and that role (with more defensive bent). Hopefully he gets more time in this more central role. he has a good eye for a pass.

The fact that he did so little and people saying he did well tells you how far he has regressed. He looked good but he ain't did shyte.
