Why should he go? Why? 6 senior players have already written to the NFF about the state of affairs and uncertainty facing the team as they begin preparations for AFCON.

1, A month to the completion there's no coach. Existing coach in Limbo and no plan to replace.
2, You owe bonuses to the players that you can't pay.
3, Yoi want to team to win under unreasonable circumstances with little support.
4, You're basically going to put something together and see if it works.

Meanwhile, Dennis, one of the hottest players in world football is supposed to put the most important period of his career aside and come join the train to nowhere. You must be outta ya freaking mind! This is only the beginning, other players will pull out too. The ignorance of Nigerian officials and fans is catching up on them.

Well done Dennis the menace. He's a real smart guy.
Rohr is not coming back. Prepare yourself and move on.
Who is the coach? Is he secretly preparing the team?
Lol Rohr former coach of Nigeria football team. Should have been fired in 2018. The NFF have lost their damn minds.
Winners do it the right way.

It is not by force. If he doesn't want to play he doesn't have to. No need to trash his reputation. And Chukwuze should start for Nigeria.
He will be banned by FIFA if he turns down the AFCON invitation.
Then he should announce retirement from international football. This is not slavery! No one should be forced to provide service to anybody. Its not by force to play international football! WTF?! And In fact if FIFA dares any sh11t, he should get a lawyer and go to court. No one can be forced to play for any country! Its absolutely imbecilic for anyone to say otherwise. Have you lost your mind???! So someone says "I no do" and you say "you must do??" :rotf: :rotf: its a different ball game if the player wants to and the club is the one preventing the player. THIS IS NOT SLAVERY!

The likes of the Ghana man @ Southampton too has refused to play for Ghana.
Lol! You can rent all you want but it's the FIFA rules. Ghana man has not been capped by Ghana, so he can refuse without any sanctions.

Hype the player today, trash same tomorrow.
Flip-flop, sine wave, all the same. Just toggle along and don't bother.

He wants the spotlight to remain on him. Sitting on the bench at the AFCON may dim the light. He is one of my favorite players and I would like to see him start in one of the wing positions. But with the availability of Victor Moses and SAMU, I don't see any other options for him but the bench. And that idea may not be amenable to his liking.
Did you see the video of **** laughing at the question posed about why Dennis was not invited? I'm sure the guy didn't take too kindly to that, and I was wondering what was so funny or why he was being so dismissive of a potential talent that can help your team as if you have too much talent you don't need him....
Source please. Post link. You keep mentioning this video, same in another thread. Find it and post it. Let us judge based on facts

Okay oooooo. There is more to this than meets the eye in this story. First we had Samuel Jalu call it quits and we didn't bat an eye. You have a chance to go to the WC which can improve your career ten fold and instead you claim you want to focus on your club career. Who in their right mind does that? Now Dennis throes a tantrum. Okay ooooo.

Meanwhile after record appearances, Musa is still integral to the squad. IGhalo is recalled. Victor Moses said to be recalled. Okay okoo.

It seems some herein have no idea that a tree does not make a forest, nor is there certainty
that Dennis will fit into the team setup. If the player does not accept and invitation to camp,
that should be respected. What if he shows up and ends up being a distraction to team activities?
I wonder why some cannot comprehend the difference between team and individual sports.

As I said Rohr is a fossil.

For whatever reason he is loyal to certain players regardless of what they do on the pitch.

I assume other players will soon quit if things dont change.

How can Aina be on the bench watching Collins and Shehu
How can Ejuke, Dennis, Kalu etc watch a clueless Musa on the pitch
How much more can Akpoguma watch Troost make a mess on the pitch
How can Sadiq, Awoniyi be overshadowed by Onuachu and Ighalo

Rohr has created a huge mess and it will not end well if he is not SACKED. Full stop.

The damage done by Rohr continuing will be much worse than any damage done were we to hire a new coach. Trust me.

I wonder. Is it his club putting pressure on him.

Or is he frustrated with Rohr and his antics.
But is the news true, though? How are we sure this information is not FAKE?

Chukwueze ? Who cannot even start a match for his club, you've got to be joking.

Dennis is a sure starter for SE atm.

blame Rohr and is stupidity and cluelessness for this.

Imagine you have Dennis and this clown is still using Simon and Musa. I too would not show up. Imagine Aina sitting on the bench watching wastepipes like Collins playing ahead of him.

Rohr is too toxic for SE. He MUST be sacked.

Vancity Eagle (VE), what is so hard here for you to understand? A whole you? I am disappointed, bro.

If a player is retired from football, or from international football, then such a player is free to do whatever he/she wants. In that case, there is nothing the player's country, or FIFA can do about it, so no sanction will be required

He does not want to play under ****. I follow EagleTracker/AyoT on IG. The guy keeps tabs on Nigerian players based abroad and the guy that runs the page said several players have confided in him that **** is incompetent and the worst coach they have ever played under. These are players that have repped Nigeria since u17. Futthermore why waste your time chopping bench for inferior players like Musa, Shehu, Ighalo in camp when you can be scoring goals in the EPL and other top leagues enhancing your reputation in the process. These guys dont need the SEs like that. Expect more fringe players to shun callups until **** is fired.

Have the complaining players confided in you which coach they would prefer?
We all saw the efforts individual players have displayed on the field, and I believe
it's the same ones who are overhyped but playing like amateurs that are complaining.
Players don't choose the coach, but are supposed to play to a coach's instructions. The
lack of discipline some players display on the field with the SE will not be tolerated by
their clubs. Let those players not interested in following game plans and team discipline
stay away. As we all know, this endeavor does not guaranty anything, thus why the BS?

“This is fake news. Very false report. I never said such. It is a fabrication of the website and it is totally untrue”, said Emmanuel Dennis, who is in the running for a call-up to the Super Eagles squad for next month’s African Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.

He said that like every patriotic Nigerian footballer that he was ready to play for his fatherland, adding that it was wicked and evil of anybody to fabricate the report that he would turn down an opportunity to serve the country.

Meanwhile, Watford manager, Claudio Ranieri, has hailed Emmanuel Dennis, saying the Nigerian goal poacher is a very fantastic finisher.

Emmanuel Dennis who has been in chart-bursting form this season after teaming up with the English Premier League club, scoring his sixth goal in 13 league matches in the Hornets’ 2-1 loss to Chelsea last Wednesday.

Dennis' goal against the reigning Champions League champions Chelsea makes him the first Watford player to score in three consecutive Premier League matches in a row since Troy Deeney in February 2017.

Despite the loss, Ranieri was full of adulations for his star player Dennis, who was a thorn in the flesh of Chelsea defenders, saying he’s however, not surprised by the display of the Nigerian top performing striker, after his previous exploits against Real Madrid in the Champions League in the 2019/20 season.

“I’m not surprised because he (Dennis) is a very good player. He scored twice at the Bernabeu! Anyone who scores two at the Bernabeu is not a normal man,” Ranieri told the club website.

“He has speed, intelligence, he is generous, and I like how he plays. He has to improve because he is young, but I have a very good relationship with him, and all of my players.”

24-year-old Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis, who joined Watford from Club Brugge, has also been named in Whoscored.com list of players for the month of November after his impressive performance in the month.

Emmanuel Dennis netted two goals and two assists in his last three games in the league in November.
