Rivers United fc of Port Harcourt have failed to qualify for the group stage of the CAF Confederations cup second time in a row.

Rivers United won the first leg by 2 goals to one in Aba, but lost one nil away in Egypt.

The aggregate scores was 2-2, but Al Masry of Egypt qualified on away goal rule.

Fortune Ominiwari should have scored an equalizer in the dying minute....
Rivers United needs to work ion their defence if they want to go far in CAF competition next year if they qualify..
