Uncle, you are becoming a serious alarmist in your old age o..
vancity eagle wrote: Thu Dec 30, 2021 5:26 pm Guys teams are getting hit with multiple covid positives.

I hope people understand that these 28 man squads are not to be taken lightly. We may be forced to start a player like Musa or Ighalo.

Our midfield is too thin.

I dont see this afcon being a success. Some games may even be delayed or canceled.

I will predict that some teams may not have enough players to prosecute a match. Then what ?

Apparently I can't remember if it's American football or basketball that are only testing symptomatic players so as to avoid canceled games.

I suggest afcon to do the same.

Do you think football is more important than public health?

Nigeria need to put the players in a bubble type environment and test regularly. Players on camp from the Instagram photos. Noble, Akpeyi, , Ndah, Awaziem, Onyekuru, Ejuke, Awoniyi, Sadiq, and Olayunka.
Winners do it the right way.

From social media, it is now showing that we have moved training to the national stadium. I am happy the training is in Abuja, I hope less distractions.

It has no bearing on real game outcomes but I have to say Egu interviews are so much more insightful compared to Rohr’s.

I think FIFA should ban foreign coaches. Everyone in every squad including the back room staff should be from the nation they are representing.
