Should he be a regular in the NT despite his club situation?

I'm probably one of the few Nwakali fans out there and I'm expecting him to shine, the Bobo just doesn't have the "club luck" factor, and that's not because he's not good enough... it's the same conundrum as Isaac Success who is another very talented player that just didn't hack it at any decent club (seems he has rediscovered his form at Udinese).

yep, he plays regularly for his club and he plays almost as a second striker sometimes so its a plus if he can find his feet in the SE

If he can find his feet and he has the lungs then it will be a huge plus. However, I do not expect him to start. His chance as starter will come if he impresses as a sub first. His plus will be his added value as a dead ball specialist.

I was one of those in the minority who had NO issues with his call up because frankly NONE of our midfielders have the passing ability/range that he does. Not a single one of them.

If he proves himself, he will actually be meeting my expectations.

If he plays well for the SE he belongs. However, there may be a reason no highlights of his recent exploits exist despite “ playing regularly” for his club. U-17 highlights are no longer relevant. 0 goals and 0 assists over 20 games in competitions in Spain Div 2 is not very confidence inspiring. I for one will be a fan if he delivers for the SE.

It will be a huge ask.
I'm wondering where all this confidence in his ability is coming from....his U17 days?
Where has he demonstrated all these amazing skills?

Anything is possible in furball. But I still have memories of his abysmal performance at the U20s. The guy’s problem is lack of energy. I wish him well.

Nwakali will be up against Africa's finest, I feel the ANC might have come a bit too early for him. Even Ejuke might not quite hack it as our no.10. His speed and artistry will be more effective running with the ball on the wings. Aribo is in poll position, with Iwobi on the bench as cover...

Agree. You know something is not right when no one has posted the almost ubiquitous highlight reel ( excepting U-17 or Athletico Madrid’s octogenarians). I keep asking what has he done lately. Totally happy to eat humble pie if he is our midfield savior
