but had the most guilt edged eff up of the entire match, when he failed to square to a wide open Awoniyi for a sure 2nd goal. Instead shot himself from an impossible angle.

He did well, but that was a real mugu move.

by the way Aina had a massive game as well, and I know he has his haters here as well. How on earth Rohr would prefer Shehu or even Collins (he could have played Simon at leftwingback instead of Aina at right) just boggles the mind. What on earth was Rohr thinking.

Big big game. I think he’s going to have a standout tournament. Shades of Vic Mo at his best.

No goals
No assists

Not even a single key pass

were you entertained though ? Entertainment doesn't win championships.

I'm still waiting for the pie.

He was my Man of the match. It is important to note that it was a desperate clearance of his cross that landed to Aribo for a key assist. Great game by him, in my view.

Simon is strong oh! He is not Samu! I think him and Ejuke are actually the two most jacked in the squad.

Yes he is short but his muscle development is far ahead of the rest of the squad, perhaps deliberately to compensate for his height. I was even watching a video of him and wondered if he was on roids lol.

On the other side of the spectrum is Onyekuru.

The BBC commentators are attributing the goal to Moses’s cross which wasn’t cleared and fell to Aribo for the assist. They also mentioned Moses as being a major thorn in the Egyptians flesh …… so may the resident CE spammer advocating (Ademola) show some respect to Simon Moses!!!!!

VE’s argument no make sense.
Does he think the Egyptian fans, pundits and most of all the players think Simon was “useless”?

Let me go back and watch how the Egyptian defenders decided to leave him unmarked and do something better with their time since after all, he was “a useless player” wey nor fit do nattin. :rotf:

Great game, one of his best. I love the way he was dragging the defenders out of position thereby creating space for Nacho and co to operate.

Your assessment of talent was exposed yesterday. This site has been spammed with continuous attacks on Moses see as Egypt had to put 3 players on him 3 players. Egypt were only able to mount attacks after he went off. So you know where you can stick your opinion on Moses
