Will EGU empty Bench? ... Uzoho, Ebuehi, & Ndah ... Get ready!
As I understand it, head to head is used as the tie breaker for this AFCON...If correct, Nigeria has finished first in the group with a game to spare!
Given the above, shouldn't Egu get it over with an empty the bench?.....See you soon Uzoho (Akpeyi), Ndah, Onekuru, Onyeka, Ebuehi, and Olayinka.

No, the team still has a lot to work on. I will go with unchanged line up. Maybe Ebuehi for Aina that is on a yellow,
Winners do it the right way.

I hope not
continue to blend the players, Awoniyi still needs to be comfortable in his position and stop running into his mates and our midfielders need to command the ball more from defense and use it instead of the defense booting the ball even when the options are not available
preferred the 4-3-3 towards the end maybe we can use this for next game
all in all, continue to do us proud SE

I expect a few changes to start the game but not disrupt the chemistry. He can use his 5 subs to get the rest of the players PT in the second half.
Re: Will EGU empty Bench? ... Uzoho, Ebuehi, & Ndah ... Get ready!
Madagascar example is irrelevant. Madagascar beat us when the top place in the group was up for grabs. This time, Nigeria has already won the group before the start of the final round match. BIG DIFFERENCE.

I have the answer on this video at 7:50. He will play some new faces. I am happy with that!!

Eguavoen has already said in the post game press conference that he will make some changes which, in my view, is the correct thing to do. It's important to rest players, limit the potential for your key guys getting injured, as well as give playing time to players who we may need to call on as the tournament progresses.

Aribo is on a yellow too so maybe Frank O can start
Re: Will EGU empty Bench? ... Uzoho, Ebuehi, & Ndah ... Get ready!
Aribo deserves a break. Well earned!
Re: Will EGU empty Bench? ... Uzoho, Ebuehi, & Ndah ... Get ready!
We've topped the group (We beat Egypt and they are the only one that can get 6 points), so I think the coach should clear the bench.
The dropoff should not be too much, and we should be able to beat Guinea Bissau's first team regardless.

I would start Ejuke, Iwobi, Uzoho, Ebuehi, Nwakali, and maybe bring Onyeka in the second half depending on the score.

Can someone actually verify the tiebreaker rules that I have posted. It is from an older rule and may have possibly changed.

This is what I found:
There is no reason to believe Article 14 has been changed. In the Africa Cup of Nations, the following tiebreakers are applied as per (Regulations Article 14):
1. Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams
2. Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams
3. Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams
4. Away goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams
5. If more than two teams are tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams were still tied, all head-to-head criteria above were reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams
6. Goal difference in all group matches
7. Goals scored in all group matches
8. Away goals scored in all group matches
9. Drawing of lots
You can check Chapter 7 of this CAF document for article 14.

Ejuke is too talented to give up on, but this should be his final chance to play for the team.
Aribo and Aina should be protected and switch to a 433
Awoniyi flanked by Simon and Ejuke/Chukwueze
Iwobi at AM with Onyeka and Nwakali behind him. Give Ndidi a break.
Ebuehi for Aina with the rest of the same defence and keeper.

I hope Coach Eguaveon makes 8 or 9 changes...
Nothing worse than a key starter picking up a knock in what is essentially a dead rubber game.
I would like to see something like the following (fluid 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 formation):
Okoye (hardly been tested)/Uzoho (2H)
Ebuehi
Ndah/Awaziem (45 mins, if fit)
Ajayi
Collins
Onyeka
Nwakali
Iwobi (doubtful he can last 90 mins though)
Chukwueze (needs the reps)/Olayinka (2H sub)
Ejuke (would-be starter, if not for Simon's form)/Onyekuru (2H sub)
Awoniyi/Sadiq (2H)
