Does Away Goal Rule apply for the playoffs?
If so, the home team for the second leg is at a serious disadvantage (Nigeria), especially if the second game goes into extra time.

Yes, away goal rule and human height as well! Ghana is already at a disadvantage!

Away goals only matter if you get results. In that case I'll gladly settle for 1-1 in Accra and 0-0 in Lagos. How about that?

Points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss)
Overall goal difference
Overall goals scored
Points in matches between tied teams
Goal difference in matches between tied teams
Goals scored in matches between tied teams
Away goals scored in matches between tied teams (if the tie is only between two teams in home-and-away league format)
Fair play points
first yellow card: minus 1 point
indirect red card (second yellow card): minus 3 points
direct red card: minus 4 points
yellow card and direct red card: minus 5 points

I knew this rule would come and bite us. CAF needs to abolish this archaic rule.
Did Eguavoen even know the rule during the Kumasi match? Only a fool would be happy with a 0-0 away draw after the first match.
