I am hearing the answer is yes and he'll miss both games since it was a straight red. BAD FOR US!!!

Like him or not Ghana coach is not stupid and if Eguavoen is still our coach he better be ready to answer the same question that will be posed to him. Iwobi was the key to me. But we'll see i guess.

Joe Aribo will just have to finally be deployed as an AM.

His backup should be Ejaria and Nwakali.

Not that big a deal.

We should file a complaint about the red and get it redacted.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

The VAR issue needs to be addressed at a higher level. I've noticed a lot more red cards being given for fouls that would have previously drawn a yellow. The problem is when you watch an incident in slow motion or use freeze-frame, it looks worse than it really was in real-time. The Iwobi incident should have been a yellow, but Nigeria is not alone here. Many other teams have also gotten harsh player dismissals.
