He has been terrific at Middlesbrough, he has also excelled playing the No 10 role as some type of advanced playmaker closer to goal in the 4-2-3-1 formation (maybe that will come in handy for what we need in the NT).

I'm adding Chuba to our depth of attackers cause he can play as a CAM
I opened the thread to yab the boy. then I saw No 10, advanced playmaker and Top scorer

Abeg wetin dey do Pesseiro sef? Call am quick quick jare.
Iwobi is the only MF we have in Europe that can play No 10 but even he rarely scores. We might have to beg this boy.

He is not the ‘top scorer’ in the Championship, he is the leading scorer. Meaning the season is ongoing and things may change. He currently has 13 goals and his rivals have 9 goals with a lot of football to be played before the end of the season.

Borough currently sit in 5th place on the league table. Transfer window is open let’s see if he moves to the EPL.

Semantics. He's currently the top scorer.

Abeg now let’s argue over what needs to be argued about. Most people use the terms interchangeably.

He's been playing very well since Carrick took over a couple of months ago. It's going to be a real fight to get into the playoff positions at the end of the season.

I watched the highlights of Borough vs Birmingham and Borough was leading 2-1before Chuba got his goal via a fast break as Birmingham left space at the back as they went in search of an equaliser.

The goal itself was a tap in. Hope see more of Borough to understand Chuba’s game.

A tap in? common man stop the lies, Chuba dribbled past the keeper to score that goal.

What about Chidi Agbabalu that has scored 37 goals this season in the Fiji Islands?

No mind dem jare. AGBABALU is a legit top striker tearing it up in Fiji. Even Osihmen only has 10 goals, the boy has almost 4 times as many goals. Agbabalu must be invited on merit.

Of course Akpom is not our most in form striker. But he should be knocking on the door for a friendly call up

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
Agbabalu is Yoruba for ‘footballer’, or more literally, ‘ball player’.
The game is referred to as ‘Ere ballu, a f’è̩sè̩ gba’ (the ball game played with the feet).

What’s the Igbo translation?

Nice breakdown boss

Igbos call a skillful ball player "Onye Ball" which means " the one who owns the ball". The concept is pretty much the same with the Yoruba version.
