Cameroon vs Algeria (2-1). Loved the Indomitable Lions at AFCON. I thought they were the next best team after Senegal, with us being third. However, Paul Biya seems determined to mess them up with this Presidential appointment of Rigobert Song. It is good for African coaches and ex-Internationals in particular to take up NT coaching roles, but the process in this case is really messed up.
Algeria are not as bad as they looked at AFCON. The team is aging, but it is still the same side that came into CAN on the back of a 35 match (or so) unbeaten run. They were due for a dip in form and results, and that happened at AFCON. IL favoured, but don't rule the Desert Foxes out.

Mali vs Tunisia (0-1) Tunisia sucks, but Mali is probably just as bad. Expect Tunisia to take the opportunity of the good fortune of this draw and flip the result of their AFCON matchup.

DRC vs Morocco (2-2) DRC are perennial underachievers, but there is some quality in the side. Morocco also play exciting and attacking football, unlike Tunisia. This should be a good game to watch as a neutral

Egypt v Senegal (1-1). This one is tough to call. Salah and Mane are two of the best strikers in the world, but both coaches (Aliou Cisse and Carlos Quieros) have set up both sides as defensive units that are difficult to crack. Senegal are favorites to go through, but I expect Egypt to put up a good fight at home.
