First Good test for Peseiro
All things been considered like: new with the team, no time to pick his own team, little to no training time to get to know the players, some core players missing, peseiro didn't do badly on his debut and there's definitely more room for improvement in the team. I like the fact that he's at least pro active and seems willing to make changes and tactical adjustments...now if he really wants to succeed, he already knows the deadweight from this team that should be weeded out for good.
Musa
Ighalo
Ekong
Bonke (I'm sorry but this lad is too mechanical for my liking, the home based lads looked more composed when they came on )
Moses Simon ( he may be a Nantes star, but Moses Simon is just too unintelligent to cut it with the national team).
The core of the team should be built around
Osimhen
Dessers
Iwobi
Ndidi
Aribo
Bassey
Zaidu
Aina
Players with potentials that should be integrated into the team:
Home based boys that balled today,
Ishaq
Madu
Obinna Nwobodo
Alhassan
Raph Onyedika
Malcolm Ebiowei
Ejaria
Ndah

Re: First Good test for Peseiro
Playing your first game “away” to Mexico with a markedly depleted squad is no joke. The guy seems like a modern era coach. Rhor and Eguavoen are clearly dinosaurs compared to this guy. He seems proactive with his assistants making moves.
Are you saying that things you do not know, do not exist, just because you do not know that they exist?

You might have something here. T17 and vancity both have one thing glaringly in common; their illogical and unholy disdain for Iheanachohighbury wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 4:30 amI don't really respect your opinion knowing full well you don't believe in your people. Players who CONSISTENTLY cannot trap a simple ball are just not it. I dont care if they score OCCASIONAL goals, doesn't take away from that piss poor play.TonyTheTigerKiller wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 9:53 amYou might have something here. Re: First Good test for Peseiro
coach - let's see how he addresses next game
Uzoho came to redeem himself
Ekong losing his step game by game, maybe he misses Balo
Ajayi grew into the game albeit a sluggish player
Awaziem not his best game today but improved in the 2nd half
Bassey and Aribo brought their winning mentality and put everything on the table, Bassey such a versatile baller in that backline, would like to see him as a CB next to Sanusi as LB
Bonke is just a destroyer, nothing more, didn't give defenders outlet and couldn't initiate attack alongside Aribo and Iwobi
Iwobi has upped his fitness but that's it, maybe his relegation fight made him play safe cos he passed back a lot more than usual, would love to see the confident, forward pass Iwobi against Ecuador
Dessers, moved well, linked up well, pressed well and scored with his first chance - good outing
Moffi, had half chance but wayward shot, let's see what he does in the next friendly
The subs gave good account for themselves but not enough minutes to analyze.
No17 linked well on the right and didn't put a foot wrong, will love to see how he plays in the next game
No 8, provided outlet for defense but not enough minutes to know whether he just wanted to feel the ball or that's his ammo, will love to see him play that position next game from start.
ps - why does Ekong ignore his midfield and loft the ball, doesn't he trust them

I hope you know these two are HB and we were told HB were not good enough. You might want to revise your analysis with the information provided.sabb wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 11:12 am

Re: First Good test for Peseiro
Slow toad Tobi, stop making unnecessary excuses. There is none of our players that did not come for the friendlies that would have changed the outcome of the game. And there is no proof that the result would have been different if Pesserio had been on the job for 5 years instead of a couple of weeks. Both goals against us were scored from defensive mistakes by our regular starter, so i am not sure which players he could have selected that would have changed that.

This should answer your question:
https://www.pulse.ng/sports/football/su ... sh/b0mhw32SUPER EAGLES "I will use the resources available to make Nigeria great again' - Jose Peseiro
So he's not RohrThe Portuguese tactician is happy to start his role and has revealed that he looks forward to the task ahead.
"I have chosen to be positive, and I have resolved to work hard to use the resources available to make Nigeria great again,” Peseiro said.
New Beginnings
The current Super Eagles squad for the upcoming friendlies features a couple of debutants, and fans can hope to see new faces who could become team regulars soon.
With a number of team regulars missing from this squad, the Portuguese manager remains optimistic and suggested that he is willing to allow players to shine.
"Every player who gets the chance to wear the Nigeria jersey should be proud of that opportunity and give it their all. I have chosen to be positive, and I have resolved to work hard to use the resources available to make Nigeria great again”, Peseiro said.
There is a good number of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players in the squad and players like Enyimba frontman Victor Mbaoma and league topscorer Ishaq Kayode Rafiu.

You need to come clean about what your real problem with Nacho is. The Dessers whose arse you’ve been licking has a terrible first touch. It was on demonstration for the whole world to see. All the players you’ve hyped so far have all been found wanting so, give it a restvancity eagle wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 10:13 amPlayers who CONSISTENTLY cannot trap a simple ball are just not it.
