Nff needs to call for a world congress and international summit to discuss how to improve the Nigerian MF.

We delivered a defensive masterclass... Falcons have been piss poor. Hopefully, they will be better in the 2nd half. We need Florence Omagbeni back!

FOREIGN coaches have sucked the life out of the Super Falcons...
Same "tactics" as under Tom Dennerby - kick it upfield and let Oshoala chase it.

Not impressed in the least. The Super Falcons have regressed badly from yesteryears😓❗️

Cheers.

But to be honest, I have not seen the additional value these foreign coaches bring.

Nigeria is ceding possession to SA and resorting to long ball.

On balance of play and looking at the emotionally charged posts above, read with a bag of salt. :D

If Oshoala is playing well, Falcons would have been 2 goals up.

...Nigeria is shaky o. No coordination, no confidence. How common SA dey control possession and threatening more at goal.

Dang.... give the opponents credit for playing a good game, nobody shows up to be beaten by anybody. The falcons ain't world Champs, they're trying yo get better and they've done ok so far.

This is not an easy team to beat. They just beat the Falcons in Nigeria recently.

Is the pitch too good?
The pitch is supper good. No complaints about it at all. Lush and green.

Oshoala may have been hurt more than it looks...
I would have pulled her out and play someone else (Kanu, Macleans, Ikechukwu, etc.).

There's no need risking aggravating her injury in the first game...
There is still a lot of football to be played in this tournament, regardless of today's result.

At this point, I will take Macleans over Oshoala.

Yup! I actually think the falcons are being too cautious, except a can of whoop azz to be opened in the 2nd half of SA.

Kick-and-chase tactics of both our FCs has nothing to do with "opponents"...
The other teams we've watched play good passing football didn't have "opponents"? SMH

The coach must remove Oshuala from the pitch now; before it is too late. She is not making effort to play ball today.

Start of the second half and she is still showing her languid and unconcerned body language. Even one vs one with the goalkeeper, she could not find the net.
