How come he's not in the Golden Eaglets squad?
Similar to the case of Harmony Achifula, 15/16-year-old secondary school student that led the NWFL Nationwide League tournament in goal scoring this year, and also won the MVP and Top Scorer awards at a national tournament for senior female teams from different regions played in Ilorin, but somehow has still not been given any consideration (as far as any publicly available information) for either the U17 Flamingos or U20 Falconets.

If Landan Bozzo does not include Ayaosi in the u20s he should be tried for treason.

Hence why i dont trust alot of local coaches. Too much sentiments in their selection processes. I would invite him for the U20s.Gotti wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 11:12 pm How come he's not in the Golden Eaglets squad?![]()

Re: Nigerian Wonderkid- Emmanuel Dennis Ayaosi's debut season in the NPFL
For the U17's I think it has to do with an NFF rule that NPFL players can't play for our U17's (even if they pass the MRI test) based on the assumption that real youngsters can't deal with the physicality, I can't forget the uproar when they called up Sunusi Ibrahim a couple years ago they ended up moving him to our U23's.Gotti wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 11:12 pm How come he's not in the Golden Eaglets squad?![]()

Re: Nigerian Wonderkids of 21/22 NPFL season - Emmanuel Dennis Ayaosi's & More
U20 Captain Tosin Adegbite, despite the disappointing season for his club Enyimba was seen as one the positives
Muhammed Aminu who was a starter for our U20's WAFU victory is very decent technically and tactically but I think needs to be more assertive with his game
Teammate Ibrahim Yahaya was another starter for that U20 team is an all action type of attacker and that's probably what makes him such a useful player
Adams Olamilekan of Lobi Stars also had a great debut season in the league with 3 goals and 7 assists it would be interesting to see how he develops
There are a couple others here if anyones interested:

Love it. The conveyor belt keeps churning and churning........

Re: Nigerian Wonderkids of 21/22 NPFL season - Emmanuel Dennis Ayaosi's & More
Anthony Odinakachi Anaeto (17 y/o LB) - Was one of the youngest debutants last season in the NPFL at 16 playing for Abia Warriors where he ended the campaign very strong after spending the larger part of the season as a bit-part squad player. He assisted a goal in 3 straight games (2 away) which would be crucial to them surviving the relegation battle. That LB position looks to be his for the taking but we'll have to see how he fares in a full season.
Mutiu Dauda (18 y/o LB) - Debuting with Sunshine Stars had a very consistent campaign where he'd be part of the one of the leagues toughest defences. He's not an outstanding attacking threat but makes up for it as he is very solid defensively and can also play CB or midfield.
Ebedebiri Endurance (19 y/o CB) - Was part of the then NNL side Bayelsa United (with the likes of Victory Beniangba & Okardi Inikurogha) the previous season who won the Aiteo Cup and had quite the continental run even beating North African giants CS Sfaxien but would get knocked out in the away leg. He's very strong physically and not much gets by him but he is pretty questionable on the ball at times. His exploits wouldn't go unnoticed as Lobi Stars signed him that season where he'd be their most consistent figure making the most appearances (32) where the just avoided relegation. Looks like he has returned to Bayelsa United since their promotion to the NPFL.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Niger Tornadoes duo Emmanuel Jonas (red - CF) and Idris Munir (19 y/o winger) both managed 10+ goal contributions each and have since received call ups to the U20 (Jonas) and U23 (Idris)

Dakkada duo Emmanuel Ayaosi (17) and Daniel Daga (16) make the roster for the 2023 season

While I expect Nentaka Bangs #36 (16) to get a lot more playing time, he was the youngest player to make an appearance last season.

Your guess is as good as mine, but from what i've heard from a journalist is that most have been called at some point but its either they had passport issues or Bosso didn't rate them which the latter would be ironic given that Olubi guy made our WAFU cup squad because he's based in Europe. We'll see sha.bret- hart wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 4:29 am Sunset how come non of these boys are in Ladan Bozzzo's U20 team? Aside from Daga. Something is fishy here.

Abia Warriors FC has signed 18 years old Uzorji Christian Uzochukwu from NLO Division 1 clubside Like-Minds FC of Gwagwalada, Abuja.

Uzorji Christian was part of the Like-Minds FC team that played and gained promotion to the NLO Division 1 League from Division 2.
Confirming this in Abuja, the Chairman of Like-Minds FC Babatunde Bocknor was full of appreciation to the management of the Abia Warriors FC especially the Chairman Pastor Emeka Inyama for his desire to ensure that grassroot players that are naturally endowed are given the opportunity to show case their talents at the highest level.
Continuing, Barrister Bocknor believed that the potentials of player would be fully harness in the team for the benefit of the country in the nearest future. He finally appreciated their technical partners, ECN Global for facilitating the move.

From Non League to Pro League : How Like-Minds FC player Signed for Abia Warriors FC.
It was on the 30th of September 2022 when congratulatory messages began to pour in for Like-Minds Football Club as the news broke that 18 year old teenage sensation – Uzorji Christian has officially signed a professional contract with Abia Warriors Football Club, Umuahia.
A young and hungry lad with a bag of dreams, Uzor, a player of LMFC , was sent with one other player – Michael Theophilus – on a 578km (10hrs) journey to the Southeastern part of the country for a trial with Abia Warriors FC. Of course, this was based on a recommendation by the former Sporting Director of Abia Warriors, Patrick Ngwaogu.
But How Did Uzor Join LMFC?
On the 19th of May 2022, Like-Minds FC played a friendly match against FC International Abuja at the Area 3 football pitch. Although LMFC won the match by a lone goal, but it was Uzor who stole the show that day with his commanding presence in the middle of the park, he was the cynosure of all eyes. He played very well, brimming with confidence for his then club – FC International Abuja. His control and dominance in midfield, plus the unflinching support he showered his defense was so obvious that LMFC players were not given the space to play their usual fluid and attacking football. He was a thorn in his opponents’ flesh.
Shortly after the match, the management of LMFC , spearheaded by the Chairman – Babatunde Nelson Akintade ESQ – approached his coach, Mr Kabiru for enquiries about him because he was just too good to ignore. Fortunately, he was mutually released and cleared to play for LMFC – a delightful outcome for the club. Meanwhile, Like-Minds FC were preparing for their Nationwide League Two campaign that will start in two weeks time. Having a player like Uzor in the team would be a fantastic addition. As fate would have it, Uzor settled in very well, and fast. He played few friendlies (for LMFC) before the league started on the 21st of May 2022.
Uzor went on to play all the Nationwide League Two games for Like-Minds FC, with fantastic results to show for. He went on to help LMFC secure promotion to the Nationwide League One.
From Grass to Grace
Born on the 23rd of November, 2004, the rock solid midfielder hails from Ubahekwem, Ihiala Local Government of Anambra State. Uzor played the round leather game right from school days before joining FC International.
Fast forward to September 2022, former Sporting Director of Abia Warriors FC, Mr Patrick Ngwaogu recommended two players to the Premier League club – Uzorji Christian , and Michael Theophilus as the new league season approaches. Both players traveled down and began extensive training. A week later, LMFC through Mr Patrick keep getting cheering feedbacks about the two players from Abia Warriors – with much emphasis on Uzor who has been defying all odds both on and off the pitch. Uzor’s progress startled everyone at his parent club and Michael was unfortunately hindered by an injury he picked up during one of their test matches. In fact, it was gathered that it got to a time Uzor was labelled “touch not” by the Chairman of Abia Warriors himself as at time when the technical crew were screening out players. Uzor proved himself a worthy ambassador of Like-Minds FC.
Uzor is just 18 years old with a lot to learn and relearn. But without doubt, greatness is in his DNA. He has continued to show discipline, commitment , and coolheadedness. That is what has thrust him to where he is today.
