I posted about this possibility almost a month ago.
CAF is so useless.
Why speculate a month ago you will cancel, when they could have just done it and the teams would have had more time to organize friendlies.
As it is there are almost no non CAF teams to play, they are all booked up.

That will likely be in November before the WC and not in September as the euro teams are playing nations league in September.
September sparring partners are slim pickings. Pretty much only African teams available so we could play
Senegal
Ivory Coast
Cameroon
Algeria
Morocco is the only African team to have scheduled matches against Chile and Paraguay.
