Very few said they liked it. In fact many said they hated it.
Remember the images of Iwobi and Kelechi in flowery green tracks and you all were totally rubbishing them?
Well, the rest is history.

Its a youth thing.
The important opinions that matter are probably the U-30s.
I think you're misremembering. No jersey is universally adored but I'm sure most people gave positive feedback on that kit.
Guy, not initially, esp older fans.
I remember reading a few articles completely ridiculing the designs. One I remember said the design was inspired by the cannabis leaf. :rotf: .
People just don’t take to change that easily.
And that was a far and out game changer.

Guys get yours; just got my Ankara Abu na asoebi concept SE home kit. It’s all that and more though must admit last home kit we presently use beats all past and present jerseys hands down
make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the--if he--if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not--that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement....Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true."

Away kit back to white.

Thank God that dreaded green is gone. We lost almost all games in it.
