This is why we failed to defeat ghana in kumasi and Abuja
they are both key for us winning the AFCON in CIV and Guinea as well as the World-cup in 2026

left to me Alex Iwobi is our playmaker ( we should build the team around him , similar to Jay Jay and he should be captain of the SE)
Also he is a true son of the soil , born in Nigeria

No, we didn't fail with both against Tunisia. Alex didn't start the game and when he was introduced, he was red carded within 10 minutes of his coming.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 6:37 pm Just like we failed Vs Tunisia with both, no thanks to your clueless master Eguaveon. Thus, Alex never REALLY played in the game against Tinusia

Alex did not even play up to 10 minutes! He was off in under 5 minutes of being introduced.Odas wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 7:56 pmNo, we didn't fail with both against Tunisia. The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

With or without Iwobi, we should have beaten Ghana. Even after stumbling against Tunisia, I still had high hopes for Eguavoen until he made the bone-headed decision to overhaul the team in Abuja, a decision that ultimately cost us the World Cup spot. A good coach must not only be technically sound, he must also be his own man. Eguavoen proved that he is neither
Cheers.
