You think academy players are released like that? Do you understand how insurance liability works for footballers?

How is a player from the Turkish super lig released in the middle of a season for a non-FIFA protected tournament?

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. I would think there's an agreement between both players/agents and the club for the release of players especially if the team has enough cover...

I thought we are playing today

Ahmed Abdullahi joins Flying Eagles after Belgian club release him

Ahmed Abdullahi -Now to join Flying Eagles in Morocco

Officials have informed SCORENigeria that KAA Gent striker Ahmed Abdullahi will now join the Flying Eagles directly in Morocco after his Belgian club released him for the U20 AFCON in Egypt.

Former Golden Eaglets star Ahmed scored twice at the U20 AFCON WAFU B qualifiers in Niger Republic in May 2022.

A concussion caused him to miss the knockout rounds of the qualifying tournament.

Gent had previously refused to release him to the Flying Eagles after they told the NFF the U20 AFCON is not on the international calendar.

With the arrival of the 18-year-old striker, there will now be more options in the centre-forward position for coach Ladan Bosso.

Olamilekan Adams is first-choice striker, while Francis Ayuba has dropped down the pecking order.

Do you have a multiple personality disorder?

One moment you are touting the diaspora players; next you are criticizing recruiting them, out of context and all...

Developing local players is a primary goal of good FAs, regardless of whether they use diaspora players or not...

Is that Nwosu in goal? The guy is tall o. We should stop wasting time on short short goalkeepers and draft him into the SE immediately.

The team looks horrible in the highlight.

Because it's a practice match to try out new tactics and access the fitness levels of the players...rocket science!

Ask Arsenal (Ideho), Crystal Palace (Ola-Adebomi), and Norwich City (Coker and Azaiya)…
Perhaps some Oyibo agents “parked” these players in their clubs to be “marketed” as needed!

The point, which is obviously lost on you as usual, is that we should focus our developmental programs on local youth who need it more, rather than FB players of indeterminate quality

Both are NOT mutually-exclusive…
In fact, the mixture arguably better serves the former goal.

Nigeria’s inability to produce good playing surfaces is appalling and quite embarrassing❗️

This guy is not U20

He looks like my uncle.

We never learn. Imagine dropping those Arsenal and Crystal Palace lads to market a 50 year old player.

Absolute disgrace.
