But we defended so well today. It’s long I have seen such composed defending from a Nigerian team.

The two CBs are very good.

And he scores.

But you are right. I’ve been wondering how he still on the pitch.
I'm not watching the game at the moment but Jude Sunday is a baller. You needed to watch him both at the 3rd place match at ANC and the match against Dominican Republic...
He needs to work on his finishing tho'

They were quite good in the first half. So why did you write them off?

Eletu is SE material. He needs to be drafted in.

Keeper looks good. Eletu looks composed. Apart from that, a very disciplined and workman team. They outplayed Italy which is no mean feat. I hope Serie A scouts are looking. I am sure some of them have played well enough at least to get trials!

This Sarki guy...I'm sure some scouts are watching him. He's a speedster but a kinda potential upgrade on Pius Ikedia.
TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED...
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding...hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe

Let’s be honest, Bosso really worked on the boys. It showed.

Midfielders hustled for sure. Final passes are still an issue. Overall solid performance against a good Italian side, which I am not sure played up to expectations today.

Impressed by:
Aniagboso (GK)
Fredrick (CB)
Ogbuche (CB)
Daga (CM)
Eletu (CM)
Sarki (RW, sub)

Honestly seems like a good thing for the national team that the forward line looks like the weakest.

Yet some people were calling him corrupt for not including some foreign based players like Ideho. It’s obvious he had his plan on how he wanted his team to play and players that fit in.
This is a confidence booster for the team.
I am happy

...when you have a team that play together often they tend to understand each other, vs SE players who come in from all over, and in 2 or 3 days they are playing a crucial match.

These kids played well, but nearly conceded from sitting back after one up.

Sarki is one good decision making away from a top tier player, his speed reminds me of prime Musa (when he was actually decent).
