Where’s Lookman? We’re lacking creativity on paper with this lineup.

He has to be relevant somehow.

That's the most action he will get.

I can only think Peseiro is resting players to keep them fresh.

There are many games played in such a short space.

We haven’t qualified for the next round though. I guess he’s assuming we can handle GB with some lesser players.

NEW CHARGES;

Bright replaces Zaidu, he will play RB while Aina will be moved to LB.

Omeruo replaces Ekong.

Iwobi benched as Aribo starts.

It’s generally a strong line up. Aribo for Iwobi is the most significant change. Simon for Lookman could go either way. The rest look like forced changes and nominal in impact.

Based on this line up and Lookman & Iwobi’s absence, I can only assume that the coach is trying to build confidence in the team’s squad depth to execute this formation, especially as we will need all hands on deck for the knockout games.

Keyword is assume, cos only one good game won’t make me change my strong reservations about Peseiro’s tactics and decisions

Shocked by Iwobi's exclusion. Simon is an experienced performer so not too much of a loss
