The guy is growing into the role. Perhaps he feels more comfortable in the system. He was in pure beast mode. Loved when he stole the ball from Wooh and drove towards goal. More of the same.

One thing I must commend Peseiro on is that this is the first tournament I’ve watched Nigeria play in — probably since the Atlanta 96 Olympics - where there are routinely 6-7 candidates for man of the match.

Onyeka was one of those against Cameroon. Top tier performances all over the field. Don’t know what Peseiro told them, but it sure is working
