This guy got the same education as friend & country man, Mourinho. I am not a fan of Jose_M but i bet no team he fields loses due to nerves & panicking. What was Finidi's role in that coaching staff.
We also have a problem with getting quality players. S.Africa had 8 players from the same club in their league - they played us off the park.
Where're our attacking & defensive midfielders, fullbacks, wide forwards? i hardly see 9ja players in any of the top clubs in Europe anymore. Our collective technical level has dropped.
If I give you a good wine, you will see how it tastes and after you ask where it comes from,'' ""To put players in my team who are not good enough will not strengthen the England team, and would weaken the Arsenal team.''The only thing I can say is that whenever England do not win it is always my fault, even when I am not at the game".Wenger said.

Let us be honest, this team overachieved with a 4th class coach who got beat in the final by a second choice indigenous coach who only got the job after the preferred oyibo would not be released by his federation!

Ola was definitely off the pace in the final.
Maybe even in the semi.

Prior to that, both he and Bassey were identified as ‘beasts’.

Big Q is why was he played? Did he mask his injury?

Players are rarely 100% and often play with injuries to help their team in important games or through a rough patch (e.g. Ekong played most of the tournament with his thigh taped up, and we often see players like Jamie Vardy play with plaster casts over broken bones).

If Aina had an injury that reduced him to 80% fitness, he would never miss the biggest game of his life for that.

Actually ‘lost’ could also be correct, even though it woulda been clearer if he’d put a comma after the word ‘final’ . :D
