VICTOR OSIMHEN DESTROYS HIS OWN DESTINY

Victor Osimhen has destroyed his own destiny by some foolish mistakes in his life:
1. He should not have extended his contract with Napoli for a temporary increase in unsustainable monthly pay for an unimaginable increase in "clause" (130 million Euros) in his contract! When I read in the media what he did, I immediately thought to myself that he sold his bright destiny for a "morsel of meat"
Unfortunately no club will be willing to part with such an enormous amount. Only the Arabs can afford this. You mean victor, current African player of the year, to play in the Arab league at the age of 25? .......rather than play in the premier league? Arab league is for retirees.
2. His uncontrollable and uninformed outburst against Finnidi George, and cursing anyone attached without publicly apologising, is like committing career "Harakiri". Pride goeth before a fall,.....and God resisted the proud and giveth grace to the humble......other coaches would have seen the video....and would think Oh no can't handle this one! including present Napoli coach.
3. Victor is not smart at all. Napoli played their cards right by convincing his agent to encourage Victor to extend his contract. Victor has the potential to be the best player in the world, but he has destroyed his own career. He current have one of two options: Go to the Arabs, and collect another "Morsel of meat" or stay put at Napoli, who ridiculed and mocked him when he missed that penalty for Napoli, despite winning the scudeto for them in the previous season.........neither (Napoli/Arab league) is the right option.
4. What is your take on this one, now that Chelsea/Arsenal/PSG has turned their back on him.

He bet on himself and lost, had he replicated his 2022/2023 performance Chelsea or PSG wouldn't mind spending 90M on him
More revenue driven and prioritizing value especially after...
Chelsea spent a lot on Lukaku...failure
Bayern spent a lot on Kane....trophyless

This is the only thing you have said that makes sense.
Victor’s performance last season exposed a lot of weaknesses and really slashed his value in the eyes of the experts, not the average fan. Yes he still scored goals but there was just something about his overall play that didn’t qualify him to be a £100m striker. And his team did not help. They were woeful.
Notwithstanding, he is still a world class striker but he needs another good season in Napoli or elsewhere. Better elsewhere that Napoli. Conte is the wrong manager for him. He won’t take all that petulance from him and would bench him sharp sharp.

what a LAZY AND FUNNY comment. I do not know how some of you view or analyze things. So you want one of the best players to join PSG or Chelsea with lower pay? I don't get how some of you think.
Osimhen earns 12 million Euros a season at Napoli( 2 years left on his contract)
https://www.capology.com/it/serie-a/salaries/
he is 25 years old. He should join some other club to boost yall's egos eh with lesser pay. No wonder none of the SE players in Europe earns more than 100k a week in the so called top 5 leagues other than VIC.
He was injured and also went to AFCON played less games, but still scored double digits.. smh but you and the others in this thread view it as a failure because he extended his contract . You people are so OUT OF TOUCH on how the owner of Napoli handles selling his prized assets. If those so called clubs choose not to pay what Napoli wants that's their freaking business.

Like I said before and I’ll say it again, Victor and Napoli fcked up with the extension. At the end of the day what did they again? Napoli were horrible and crashed out of Europe. Even if he moves this summer, they ain’t getting the $100M plus they were asking for.
Victor should have used that mocking incident and the fact that he won they the league last year and fled. What is 12M in wages? The few clubs that can afford to pay his transfer fee can easily match or double his wage at Napoli if they avoid to play the transfer fee. Common agents are asking for 10M to close a deal talk less of the real player doing all the work.

Bayern may have not won a trophy, but only a f00l will not admit that Kane justified every single penny spent on him. He doesn't play in defense. He was bought to score goals, and he absolutely did that with excellence.

EP!
Osimhen will be fine. He will move to PSG!
Worst case scenario he stays put at Napoli and partners with Lukaku upfront.

He scored more than enough. The defense was the problem. Not Kane. But ok, we can agree to disagree.

Victor %%%% up
Napoli did not **** up - they can sell him for less than his buy-out clause
Victor gave Napoli all the leverage

Osimhen's agent is a scam artist....this a disgusting contract. Osimhen might not have had the greatest season, but he deserves better
Victor Osimhen->$ 16,761,191 per year [2-yrs/$27.94M]

The business trend of spending 9 figures on a release clause for an injury-prone player from a foreign is trending downwards.
Clubs understand they're only negotiating against themselves.
Chelsea is prioritizing wonder kids (buying for less than $50M + long-term contracts)
PSG is prioritizing homegrown Parisian talent
City has Alveraz
Real Madrid has Mbappe
Liverpool has Nunez
Bayern has Kane
United, Arsenal, Totenham, and Barcelona who can all benefit from Osimhen will not drop $143m on a release clause

How has he lost? Didn't he get a massive pay increase and an extension of his contract? Is he estranged from his club? Is he desperate to play away from Italy? He has no control over the buy out clause, thats all on Napoli. If they insist on keeping it that high, then he simply plays out his contract. If anyone bet, it is Napoli that he would repeat the exploits of the 2022 season, and they would cash out via the buy out clause.
At the end of the day, Napoli has the most to lose, and they are not exactly hurting for cash ...

Why will he even leave Napoli? Osimhen is world class now, he flops in EPL....then what? i believe his options are stay in Napoli under Conte (striker focus play) or go to PSG - Where he will win the league and cup and possibly win the CL...he is a god and Ballon d'or awaits

The best go to the toughest stages to challenge themselves. The EPL is the next logical place for him to go. It's better exposure for him and probably put him in a better position post football. There really is zero indication that he will flop in the EPL if he goes to one of the top 4-5 clubs. He is a world class player.
He has already done france and i dont really see that PSG squad winning the CL anytime soon.

Osihmen should go to Saudi and collect the $$$$$$$. Nigeria is not going to the WC, he’ll be 30+ by the time Nigeria qualifies for another WC. He’ll make more in Saudi than he would even if he wins the Epl. Life is short, the career of a top baller is even shorter. Take the $.

Given his talent, ability, accomplishments Osimhen is paid below market value. Which is why I referenced Sterling and Dembele

Got you and agreed. Lets see what his agent does in his next contract. I would imagine his wages would be closer to Dembeles if he ends up in psg

I likely been on this site since 2003
Its hard to read or post when people debate/argue without facts, data, or “why” they feel so strongly on their stance.
Point is Osimhen gave up all of his leverage to Napoli. Now has to rely on Napoli forgiving profits they’re legally entitled to.
Mbappe…ran down his contract
Toney…says he’ll run down his contract

So Osimhen has been axed from training with Napoli and participating in their pre-season games, he's essentially no longer part of the Napoli squad anymore. Where gives at this point?
