Thomas Nkono. Legend precedes talent in these things. And there was a time when he was unbeatable. Even though he also chopped two from Lineker in 1990.

Van der Sar, especially the one formerly at Ajax. He was a really really ridiculous goalkeeper at that time. He was simply the bus parked in front of goal.

thomas nkono no doubt...alias black spider. in short if not for his retirement i would call upon him to catch for this present lion team. see what he has done to kameni and i expect still more to come from that youngster if nkono is guiding him. the fact is that we dont apreciate our own otherwise nkono in his prime would have nnothing to learn from buffon, kahn and what not.

You've got that right! The guy became Argentina's number one in Italia 90 under tragic circumstances but turned out to be a blessing in disguise. HE was so good in penalties that Argentina disposed of one team -- I forget the name -- and Italy through penalties and were playing for penalties in the finals before the ref read their ploy and awarded a dubious penalty to Germany. Andreas Brehme bearly converted the spot kick -- the ball's precision beat Goychocea by millimetres.

Adeyemi (RIP). He was the goalie at the U 17 world cup in 1995 held in Ecuador. Men that guy was a pk stopper.
