tHE GUY IS A BETTER STRIKER THAN MARTINS FOR NOW

See his first goal here:

Edited out as the link showed another game now :(

He should leave after the season ends (2 more matches).

He is far too good for Norwegian "Tippeligaen"

I am not one of those who act fickle and changes his mind on who is our best striker every week. I have always believed that Utaka, Ogbuke and Nsofor are the best three choices we have upfront.

However, can anyone see Eguavoen ever dropping Martins and Yakubu for them? We are going nowhere with ICs.

Thanks Frostz, how did he play? how do you rate him this season, and which club do you think will buy him.

Denmark is not Rwanda/Angola (worse!) Since IC brought Oba, what has he achieved with him?Bonfere brot Yak FYI (to U/23) SSS discovered TT and he definitely is not your average "IC", Infact that nomenclature will be an insult on SSS...ditto Edu. I'm not against "ICs"...I just think they're not proven competent .

He scored only 8 goals this season? That's a lot fewer than one would have anticipated.

Which of these would you rather:

Lose to Denmark in the second round of the World Cup after topping your group with a famous 3-2 win over Spain
Miss out on qualifying for the World Cup to Angola, not being able to beat the likes of Rwanda, Gabon and Angola.

This is Norway.

Remember Seyi Olofinjana dorminated this league (with a handfull of goals to boot). Didn't Peter Ijeh dorminate this league as well? Is it inconcievable to believe that Martins will score in excess of 20 goals per season in this league as well?

Perspective folks. Let Edu start proving it first with goals in SE ala Martins.

Watch the knee, there is someone in the sit in front of you.

Exactly. Norway is not exactly on the footballing map. Ogbuke needs to move to a more visible leage and ball with the ballers and see if he can cut it or will be another Ogbeche (where is Ogbeche now?).

One thing he has going for him is he plays technical football. He plays like a European player with the runs off the ball, positioning, etc. which can be a plus in Europe club ball but won't cut it internationally.

I really did not see talent at the WYC that players like Mikel Obi, Vanzenkin and Taye Taiwo had. I hope Ogbuke proves me wrong but I doubt it.

You are a liar. For a long time you saw Utakka and Martins as our best choices upfront. You did not have either Ogbuke or Nsofor ahead of Martins. Do we need to dig up history here?

Please don't

I bet if we dig deep we will find him saying Osaze-Martins combo is our best choice. Just wait until Osaze score a brace next weekend.

Until Ogbuke come out of Norway and start doing his thing in a tougher league, he can't clean the boots of the likes of Yak and martins. Anybody can do wonders in Norway. Or is it not around there Peter Ijeh scored about 30 goals a season.

Who can forget the Osaze flip flop?
Much like Kerry, he voted for it the first time and then voted against the second time.

It is not! But it may be in Denmark...

Peter Ijeh is set for relegation with his team Viking. He has 6 goals (in 12 games) for the team this season (including the one today).

Obasi (Edu) has 8 goals in 10 games for FC Lyn Oslo.
