Chelski just played their Cup final against Arsenal...seems like it's all downhill from there...after all they barely scrapped past Stuggart. Don't write off Monaco or Deportivo for the UCL.

I agree, they are so excited about beating us that they have forgotten that there are still EPL and CL games to played.

'Flying high, high in the sky, keep the blue flag flying high'

Wasnt that the chorus that echoed through the forum as talk of a double was sewn in the minds of the Chelsea faithful? I was considered presumptious when I said that i didnt think Chelsea could go the rest of the season unbeaten, and thus make the championship less of a formality for the North London globe trotters. Indeed, hype was-a-plenty, and the battle cry seemed loudest to the west of london. But its one thing saying what you're going to do, and its another to achieve it. So what have the 2 games that proceeded Chelseas 'Historic win at Highbury', the first in 5 years, shown us? That fatigue is costly, and class is persistent.

It was argued, upon the evidence of the 90 minute showing by Henry against 'The Mighty Blues', that he 'wasn't all that', 'Eidur Gudjonssen was a better player' and even more attrocties were muttered, that i daren't remember. So what does Mr 'Not so good' do to reclaim his 'withering' reputation, to justify his hype? simple. As ever, he strectches out his arm, and reaches for those superlatives that have become somewhat of a trademark for the Frenchman, and a dream for his fellow professionals. Scoring a title-deciding hat-trick, if it wasnt already a foregone conclusion, and arguably the goal of the season, if not a close contender, is a fair response to the criticism.

As for Eidur, Jimmy, just the ordinary was all they could muster, and judging from his performance against Boro, it was obvious Frankie had gone to Hollywood, rather than Stamford Bridge.

In retrospect, the easter periods turned out pretty well, it puts the best side in the premiership, a mile clear of the pretenders to the throne, and in a position to wrap it up on the back yard of their North London counterparts- Thankyou Claudio.

On a sweeter note, it was nice to see Veron return to action. Its a frank reminder that the depth of your pockets doesnt garuntee you the best sweets in the shop. Whilst Argentina has long since, stopped crying for her prodigal son, it remains the burden of the Chelsea loyals, who have to view the biggest waste of money since the millenium dome, don the blue strip, with less care and compassion than Harold Shippman. Perhaps the next time Abramovich decides to waste a bundle of cash, he could turn his attention to the gluttinous predators, stalking the concrete jungles of Nigeria, rather than throw it onto the plates on his premiership counterparts.

No to forget the champions, the pride of England. Indeed its been a disgraceful season for the 'Fat Scotsman' (Alex), one that has seen mismanagement, miseduaction and misspending do the rounds on Trafford Way, the 'Heartless (literally) Hibernian' could take much relief in removing the dead wait of Juan Sebastien from his wheelbarrow. I assume that deal alone, cut his drug prescription down by 10 tablets.

In conclusion, contrary to what has been said 'Blue still isnt and never will be the colour'. Rather, Red is not only the colour of the mist that blitzed passed the pedestrians on numerous occassions this season, but its also the colour scribbled on the Moscow Man, £100 million spent, a weakening grip on second place, daylight between the top side and them, and uncertainty about europe conquests. If ever it was in question, surely now, we all know the answer 'Theres only one team in London'.

Coach, Excellent commentary.

All Hail the Arsenal, the true kings of London.
All Hail King Henry
