He was a legend in the 400m hurdles .... and won medals in the 76 olympics as
well as the 88 seoul olympics....the latter when he was 34 yrs old or so.

Because hurdles (100m and 400m) requires skill as well as endurance, older
folks in their 30s can do well if they have good technique.

So in other words, don't be so suspicious of the 35 yr old medalist.

I knew Ed Moses and his exploits in 400 meters hurdles.
Even the legendary Ed Moses could not win an Olympic gold medal at 33 in Seoul 1988.
But this dude from the Dominican Republic pulls it off at age 34?
Yet he was more washed last year than any athlete in Olympic history!
