Independent minds covering the Olympics have a responsibility as healthy skeptics. Those working for corporate partners may not have the freedom to tell the truth to viewers, listeners or readers, but those who are not are indeed obligated to do so.

The American women broke the 4 X 100 record despite only winning a silver medal in the 100. How come the author isn't suggesting that the American women are doping

he doesnt hate Michael phelps... and that guy looks juiced up to his eyebrows. He thinks when someone else wins, they are doping like majority of Americans... first it was the chinese swimmer and now Bolt....

All these arguments sef.

They should explain how Ukraine 4x100mW is so good. Even back in the day in 1992, Cuba won bronze in the 4x100m without a finalist in the 100m race while at a time, though for a short period, France without dominated the USA without a single individually excelling 100m sprinter.

It's funny that it's the winners that are always taking the brunt of doping/unfair advantage allegations. We haven't heard squat about Caster Semenya because he/she didn't win the gold. Had he/she won, there would have been a maelstrom of media publications questioning Caster's true gender and whether it would be fair to have him/her participating with female athletes. As long and he/she is not winning, everything is right in the world.

If she had started that kick from say 150 meters, she would have easily won gold medal.
