Nigeria vs Croatia

Nigeria leading by 4 (43-39) at the half, thanks to Umeh's three points shooting. We are still not disciplined enough though with everyone taking tough 3 point shots when there's no one in the paint to rebound.. Diogo is the top culprit.

Just imagine if we had farouk and other guy on this team how deadly we would be..
Brazil is beatable, but we dont match up well against them. They have 2 7 ft guys in the middle

Croatia had 7ft guys in the middle as well(or 6'11). Brazil has no 7 footers on their squad. Nene is listed as 6'11 but is probably 6'10. Feliciano the other center is listed as 6'10.
Alade is 6'10/6'11. Ike is 6'9(more like 6'8/6'7). Either way, the height difference shouldn't be much of an issue for our bigs. The physicality of Nene vs Ike and Alade in the post should be interesting.

Good win.

Cold comfort for me as we half talent to be the No. 2 team in the world (although Australia would have given us a fight for it, the way they are playing).

Let's even forget about Oladipo, Okafor & Ezeli, who have never played. We still have enough to beat the likes of Lithuania silly. Too bad with Seni Lawal, but the likes of Ochefu & Sulaimon & Al-Farouq would have given this team speed, size & versatility.

I've been too upset with the way things unraveled just b4 the Olympics, & I have not posted, but congrats to the guys. They played with heart & always a privilege & honor to represent your country.
