9. For the first time since 2014, the Belgians won't win all their first round games at a World Cup they are playing in

10. Mexico has lost to the top seeded team(Argentina) in their 1st round group for the first time since 2006

For Ghana's second goal.

It started as a goal kick to Ghana, they then passed the ball 31 times, without Korea touching it once, before then scoring.

  • Mohammed Kudus (Ghana) at his first world cup, in 2 matches, has equaled the # of goals by Nigerian greats: Kalu Uche, Daniel Amokachi and Emmanuel Amunike.
  • He's got more than Rashidi Yekini(1), Victor Ikpeba(1), Victor Moses(1), Okocha(0) & Kanu(0)
  • He became the second youngest (22 years 118 days old) African player to score two goals in a World Cup match, after Ahmed Musa (21y 254d) for Nigeria against Argentina in 2014.

For the first time, Cameroon has not received a red card during their first two games in the world cup. Let's hope this streak continues
"History shows that this club has had very few strikers like him. I do not know if there has ever been anyone like him before. What I do know is that Barcelona should erect a statue for him. Samuel was a fundamental player here in recent years and was key to all of the titles that the team won."

Bayern Munich had more players called up for the 2022 World Cup than any other club, with 17 players travelling to Qatar for the tournament.

Al Saad of Saudi has 15, more than Chelsea and PSG

BTW, the Boateng brothers were half-brothers. Same father, different mothers.
The William brothers are the first "full-blood" brothers to play for different countries
