Poland: Szczesny, Bereszynski, Glik, Kiwior, Cash, Krychowiak, Zielinski, Szymanski, Frankowski, Kaminski, Lewandowski.
Why is Ibrahima "One Man Defence" Konate not in the centerback pairing? I would have played him instead of Uppermechanic.
Konate   broke the World Cup record for most tackles in a World Cup game against Tunisia. He had 11 tackles. Why he is not playing is a mystery.

Why is it "cowardly" rather than pragmatic? Defense is part of the game and if a team knows it is better off using that department of the game to its advantage rather than play to its opponent's advantage, I'd call that pragmatic and smart. And it is up to the opposition to figure out how to break down a stubborn and rugged defensive approach.
Its about people not understanding the game.
Playing with a low block is a legitimate tactic in football.

You play to your own strength as well as to minimize the opponent's strength.
The Poles are not on the same talent level as France.
If so, I hope they are ready to home home, then.

Poland with a rare sequence of passes.

Usually I give an underdog a chance if they hold out in the opening 15-20 minutes. Again, I mean no disrespect. But Poland plays with little ambition or skill and probably won't see many if any quality chances.

France is also exceptional in the final 1/3rd.

See, Poland on rare counter and it's a bird killing hope towards Lewandowski.

I know, but with the STARTS France is parading, they should beat Poland with 'relative ease.'

France is shifting a bit, laying back now, trying to get that sucker punch counter.

Let's see if the Poles take the bait and gamble on some numbers in the final 1/3rd.

The French are versatile. Pretty nice football to see.

Dare France be level at the break. A goal in the first half or early second is an absolute must. If they venture too far into the Pole’s fishing net, they’ll be torn a brand new Krakow.

Frustration is the name of the game.

Poland also getting greater foothold in MF

They're shifting Lewa into a near inside right position

See how Poland almost shot itself with that gift giveaway?

Defender should have let that ball go out but instead saves it to French player for breakaway.

This is football IQ.
