Messi's goal is pure skills...................VP's goal is pure athleticism.

VP did well and showed some skill. But he took a chance gifted by a sleeping Spanish defense.

Messi indeed did by his lonesome self against a defense in depth.

Huge difference. Messi can create out of nothing. VP can't.

Argentina defense looks a right shambles

The good thing about our sequence of matches is we play what is theoretically the easiest opponent first .... and can get stronger going forward.

The bad thing about our sequence of matches is by the time Bosnia and later Argentina face us, they will know what they need to work on .... and will also be getting stronger as they go forward. In one respect I am glad our players get to watch them play each other, but at the same time I suspect we will face particularly a "different" Bosnia. I hope we do the business against Iran tomorrow, because that will put a tonne of nervous pressure on the Bosnians when they face us.

I look forward to tomorrow. It has been a loooooooong wait to watch us get into the action.

PS: If Ameobi scores tomorrow, I will stop yabbing him ..... for 24 hours.

I really don't understand where some of you guys get this kind of confidence from? What trend gives you this idea? This is how you all get extremely disappointed.

The question is not who can or cannot, its who did...Messi did not do anything more spectacular than either Robben goal...RvPs goal was by far more spectacular

They'll both open up against us, I think it'll bite them in the rump.

I doubt that. They seem to have learned their lesson when it comes to defensive caution. Like I said, that's a bad moon rising for the rest of the competition.

Argentina is good. And they're in South America. They're feeding off of the Brazil hate too.
