Italy out! Uruguay is primed and getting stronger and stronger. I really feel they have a team built to go deep and possibly win this WC.

Holland and Uruguay. And they're in the same bracket.

Cheers, Mate

So how many European teams have been eliminated in the first round so far?

North and South American teams are dominating here. I think the weather is affecting the Euro teams.

Honestly, I feel bad for Italy. I wanted Uruguay to qualify but not because of a gift from the Referee.
That red card changed the match in Uruguay's favor, but whats done is done.

BTW, remember what I said earlier about taking out Balo? You can understand the reasoning due to his yellow, but given the scoreline at the end, it might have cost Italy their qualification for the 16 round.

Why is Italy crying, Cassano showed more football sense than that Immobile who lived up to his name as being immobile.

This is not good for our players o, England, Italy, Spain out, there might be a backlash that it's because of all the foreign players in their leagues that caused this shameful exits and they might start passing more laws to restrict players in these leagues.

LOL! True.

The red unfortunately was not right. A yellow for sure. But once again, the margin of difference was the official.

I don't know what can be done to fix this. Human error and judgment are increasingly a factor when the margins are so small.

And much as I like Suarez and the potential of Uruguay...he should be suspended. That bite was bad. Not in the spirit of football. What a fool.

And I really wanted to like him.
