Is this their second citizenship, along with that of Ghana?
I wonder if such players can choose which country they play for if they have more than one citizenship?

It simply means they could have chosen to play for Ghana, if they wanted to.

Chief, Fonzie may have been born in Ghana in a refugee camp, but his parents are from Liberia. So your "descent" thing is not strictly true. Yes, he was eligible to play for Canada, Liberia and Ghana. But na we get am now.

Add Cody Gakpo to the list. Father Ghanaian/Togolese. More Ghanaian though.
Thank me later, Rawlings.
