Technical ability matters. Amazing quality balls from Dembele and Mbappe. Many get in those positions and find no one.

Looks like a lot of teams will be embarrassed at this WC. I’m low-key okay we didn’t qualify. Imagine Ekong and Mbappe.

Sounds like France brought the heat!

Maybe those injuries help? Avoiding the defending champion syndrome that seems to usually happen?

Quality is quality regardless. I never doubt France as a deep run capable team in the modern era. Always have stars, always prepared...usually manage to reign in egos. Usually.

They've actually been legit in the last 3 tourneys (Lost the final vs Portugal to PKs , won the Worldcup and lost to PKS in the last Euros)

This is like their 2nd team, they lost Pogba and Kante..that is huge

Giroud is an underrated player. Chelsea should just have kept him. Nobody we have tried has even come close.
