Wow!

Japan take the lead

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Talk about guys that can pass, score and defend. And people say having good midfield players are not a necessity.
...says who? Our SE simply doesn't have the chemistry, and intensity to gel before a match.
People that think we are good with just Etebo and Ndidi starting.
...doesn't matter, still need serious chemistry, commitment from all concerned. We just don't have it.

When your players are fit and are technically skilled, the sky is the limit. The USA has fitness but not so much skill

Germany better get at least a point from this or it is looking like another 1st round exit for them. They will definitely not get much from Spain

No coming back for Germany from this one. AFC is doing well as a federation.

Will a CAF team win a game at this World Cup?

We 100% need chemistry. But you have to have your set squad and play them consistently. You might have injury here or there. We haven’t even selected our best foreign players and we don’t seem to have a patience with grooming any of our local players. It’s a constant turnover. For example, Onyedika made the Euefa first 11 team in the group phase, we played him in one friendly and then he doesn’t get an invite the next time.

Why did he play Moukoko when there was still time? That kid can dribble the life out of someone.
