Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

This looks like an American football game score. One touchdown and a converted kick.

I am with you. FIFA should just end it. Pure humiliation to one of the countries I really like. Good people, great vacation spot.

It is better to stay at home and not qualify rather than go to the World Cup lose 7-0 what an embarrassment

Total annihilation.

Germany is in deep deep trouble facing this Spain next. Seems like Spain is jelling and peaking at the right time. Competing their maturation...as I've been following them since last WC.

I didn't think Spain could beat a Brazil or France. Don't know anymore. I get Costa Rica is not good during a down CONCACAF cycle, but this kind of domination is something.
Pax Americana...Wither Now?
