South America CONMEBOL is the most difficult FIFA region to qualify from. Any team wey qualify from dia na okpoka team.

Ecuador and Brazil have the largest representation of their black athletes in soccer, the other South American countries especially Argentina are pretty racist

So Senegal must look for a win against Ecuador to advance with certainty.

Based on this, the Dutch have a lot of thinking to do. Their performance bordered on pitiful. This sets up a win or eliminated scenario for Senegal and I am not convinced the Senegalese can pull it off.

Total ojoro. If this nonsense continues, I will stop watching this World Cup. There is no doubt now in my mind that FIFA instructions to the referees is to favour the "big" teams. That was a great goal. And they took it away for dubious reasons.
Chief, nobody blocked the goalie's ability to see the ball. He was already diving one way when the ball was deflected.

The only way Senegal advances with a draw is if Qatar hammers The Netherlands. Is that likely to happen?

airwolex wrote: Fri Nov 25, 2022 6:30 pm I wonder how many WC's these Euro Nations would have won if more competitions were played outside their zone. A lot of them look average.

Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Holland, and Wales all look like AFCON's sides.

You mean like having a WC in Brazil.

Sure, I guess a team like Germany than would REALLY get exposed.

:)

Come on man. Let's not exaggerate. Again, it's a marathon and this WC in particular is being played in unusual circumstances. Euro teams have done well everywhere...and still might in this WC.

No doubt Equador was the better team. I was surprised how slow and unimaginative the Dutch were. Equador in contrast showed a lot of dynamism and speed in the final 1/3, crafting a few nice chances.
