Every time France and Denmark are in the same group in the group stage of a tournament, one of them wins the whole thing (except for the 2002 WC :mrgreen:)

If Denmark play like they played at the Euros, I fancy them getting a point or beating France. Their midfield is their strength.

Denmark, France, Croatia, and Austria were in the same Nations League group. Croatia won the group. Beat Denmark twice. Beat France once and drew the other. Denmark beat France twice.

The pundits all rave about Denmark as the golden child. Still dismiss Croatia. The Danes smell blood.

I don't think so. I think France steps it up and wins convincingly. Big difference, as I watched all the NL games...and you always knew France had extra gears, but injuries, testing new players, and so kept them in cruise control.

Holly Molly you are right. They beat France twice this year. In their history in competitive games, France has 8 wins to Denmark 6. The two countries have drawn twice.

Denmark also beat France 2-0 at the 2002 WC. Granted that was a long time ago.

Giroud was never a starter in all the big clubs he played for, but he somehow remains relevant with France. I did t know he was close to breaking their all time goals record.

A guy like Anelka should’ve owned that record if not for his knuckle head personality.
